Currently in the midst of an extensive U.S. tour with a recent stop at SXSW, Conrank is set to release his most comprehensive work to date. The UK born, Shanghai based Conrank is a producer/DJ specializing in experimental/futuristic beats infused with traditional aspects of trap/dubstep music. His forthcoming Hemispheres EP is out now on DJ Shadow’s Liquid Amber imprint.

Liquid Amber has been on fire in 2016 with dynamic releases from artists like Dj Pound and Noer the Boy but the imminent Conrank EP is something entirely unique on its own. The enigmatic producer’s sound is one-of-a-kind, his style is near impossible to emulate, and the Hemispheres EP is a very strong indicator of who Conrank is as a producer. From the clashing of swords in “Yi By Yi” to the Malaysian percussion in “Gradient,” the energetic funky flow in “Hood Shake,” to legendary Blak Twang’s vocal work in “Lace The Jewels,” Hemispheres showcases the latest Liquid Amber signee’s diverse cultural influences and upbringing throughout the course of his life. UK born, Shanghai (CH) based Conrank is a producer/DJ specializing in experimental, future-tinged 808 bass music. His latest Trekkie Trax release ‘All For You’ was featured on Nest HQ and includes collaborations with Zean, KOROStyle and Chace. Following his breakout performance at 2010’s “Secret Garden Party” in the UK, he’s spread his music around the world touring consistently in Europe, Australia and Asia including Strawberry Music Festival (China), Storm Festival (China) and Le Trois Elephant (FR) . On the production end, Conrank has worked with a wide range of artists such as DJ Shadow and Chinese superstar Sa DingDing on a project for Universal Music Asia. His past releases have been featured on XLR8R.com, Run The Trap, Trap City and have received support from headlining DJ’s like Gaslamp Killer, DJ Craze, G Jones, BUKU and N-Type to name a few. With an upcoming November 30th release on buzzing Tokyo-based label Trekkie Trax and a North American tour in the works for March/April 2016, his much anticipated SXSW appearances will kick off an extensive Summer festival season for this progressive bass artist.
